A 250-foot long, two-sided fence designed for the newly built playground at the Yellowstone Schools located in the Third Ward of Houston. Designers split into three teams, researched the community within and around the school to develop a unique art direction. Collaborating to create graphic elements and messaging based on Yellowstone’s mission and values, balancing its expressive and interactive function.

Goal
Create a visual initiative that encompassing Christian values, student growth, and the history of Yellowstone Academy within Third Ward.
Highlight and incorporate school subjects, religious and symbolic imagery, native plants, Thind Ward landmarks, and figures and elements that represent the school’s key mantra of “Inspire, Empower, Invest”
